Machine lapping is the production method of lapping Mechanical Seal Faces. Our Master Lapping Systems are used in both manufacturing and reconditioning processes. Many materials used for the manufacture of mechanical seals are now too hard to be lapped using old fashioned conventional abrasives like Aluminum oxide, Carbon and silicon carbide.
